Purpose: Penelitian ini mengatasi masalah rendahnya daya saing internasional lulusan vokasi dengan tujuan mengungkap strategi peningkatan mutu lulusan program SMK 4 tahun menuju kesiapan kerja global di SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta.Method: Pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus diterapkan dengan instrumen berupa pedoman wawancara mendalam, lembar observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kurikulum, dan perwakilan guru kompetensi keahlian di SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta.Findings: Hasil menunjukkan efektivitas strategi terintegrasi melalui model teaching factory, sertifikasi BNSP/industri, kursus bahasa asing intensif, pembinaan soft skills, dan kerja sama penempatan internasional. Respon subjek mengonfirmasi bahwa strategi ini efektif membentuk kesiapan kerja global siswa lewat pembelajaran berbasis proyek (project-based learning) yang adaptif terhadap standar industri luar negeri.Practical implications: Menjadi panduan praktis bagi kepala sekolah dan guru dalam mengintegrasikan kurikulum internasional, menyelaraskan materi ajar dengan standar teaching factory, serta mengoptimalkan program persiapan penempatan kerja luar negeri bagi siswa.Originality: Memberikan kontribusi unik berupa model empiris pengembangan mutu khusus untuk struktur kurikulum program SMK empat tahun (bukan tiga tahun) yang berorientasi spesifik pada migrasi tenaga kerja global.
Purpose: This study addresses the low international competitiveness of vocational graduates by examining quality improvement strategies for the 4-year vocational high school (SMK) program to foster global work readiness at SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta.Method: A qualitative case study design was applied utilizing in-depth interview guides, observation sheets, and documentation study instruments. Research subjects comprised the Principal, Vice Principal of Curriculum, and vocational teachers at SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta.Findings: The findings demonstrate the effectiveness of an integrated strategy encompassing the teaching factory model, BNSP/industry certifications, intensive foreign language courses, soft skills training, and international placement partnerships. Subjects' responses confirmed that these strategies effectively cultivate students' global work readiness through adaptive project-based learning tailored to overseas industry standards.Practical implications: Provides practical guidelines for principals and teachers to integrate international curricula, align teaching materials with teaching factory standards, and optimize overseas job placement preparation programs for students.Originality/value: Offers a unique contribution by providing an empirical quality-development model specifically tailored to the curriculum structure of 4-year (instead of 3-year) vocational high school programs oriented toward global labor migration.
