Tahap persiapan pengembangan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terintegrasi dengan desain Dick Carey

Purposes. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merumuskan model pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi keahlian yang terintegrasi lintas disiplin ilmu pada tahap persiapan dengan mengadaptasi empat langkah pertama desain Dick & Carey. Method.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan subjek siswa jurusan Teknik Pengelasan di SMK Negeri 6 Palu dan SMK Negeri 3 Palu. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei, wawancara, dan validasi oleh ahli teknologi pendidikan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik tabulasi persentase. Findings. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa telah menguasai pengelasan Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) posisi flat (1F) dan horizontal (2F), namun kurang terampil pada posisi vertikal (3F). Sementara itu, capaian kompetensi Matematika (pemodelan fungsi) dan Bahasa Inggris (teks prosedur) berada di bawah kriteria minimum karena status hubungannya belum terintegrasi (not integrated). Practical Imlication. Penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya rekonstruksi kurikulum melalui Project Based Learning (PjBL) terintegrasi. Sinergi dilakukan dengan menerapkan konsep fungsi Matematika untuk memodelkan parameter kuat arus pengelasan. Originality. Bahasa Inggris diaktualisasikan dalam merancang Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) pengerjaan proyek agar tercipta pengalaman belajar siswa yang bermakna, kolaboratif, dan siap kerja.
Purposes. The purpose of this study is to formulate a competency-based learning model that is integrated across disciplines in the preparation stage by adapting the first four steps of Dick & Carey's design. Method. The research method used is Research and Development with students majoring in Welding Engineering at SMK Negeri 6 Palu and SMK Negeri 3 Palu as subjects. Data were collected through surveys, interviews, and validation by educational technology experts, then analyzed using percentage tabulation techniques. Findings. The results showed that students had mastered Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) in flat (1F) and horizontal (2F) positions, but were less skilled in the vertical position (3F). Meanwhile, the achievement of Mathematics (function modeling) and English (procedural text) competencies was below the minimum criteria because the relationship status was not integrated. Practical Implication. This study emphasizes the need for curriculum reconstruction through integrated Project Based Learning (PjBL). Synergy was carried out by applying the concept of Mathematical functions to model welding current strength parameters. Originality. English is implemented in designing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for project implementation to create a meaningful, collaborative, and work-ready learning experience for students.
